Welcome to America (Episode 2) | NFL Undiscovered 2016

[PREVIOUSLY ON NFL UNDISCOVERED]
All these people who’re
playing football outside of America, they have no way of making it
to the NFL. In between the season,
the past two seasons, I’ve been working as a postman. I just wanted to take care
of my daughter. Well, that’s the dream,
sign that contract, get my name at the back of the jersey. It’s not impossible. [BOCARATON, USA]
We’re at Tony Villani’s XPE
training facility down here in Boca Raton, Florida. Hell! Eyes, chest, knees! Pull through! Pull through! I mean,
I know what he did for my career and that’s exactly
why Harry is down here, that’s exactly why Anthony’s down here. They’re trying to take that next step. All right, all down the back,
three times. Never be standing around, guys. Get down. Go, go, go! Get far out! Culture is so different
than what Anthony and Harry, what they’re used to. In the United States,
they have so much confidence ’cause they’ve been the best
their whole lives, you understand, and they know this. So they are going to look at these guys
in the European leagues or “What are they doing out here?” You know, they are not
going to be able to compete, you know, with the big,
bad American football players and “nobody can touch us.” Right, I want you to go forward
and extend to go out that way. Up, down, up, down, up, down,
move, move. He’s very passionate about what he does. Get through there. Come on. He’ll pick up on every little step
and then scrutinize everything. Get aggressive. Uh-uh. More aggressive. Your fist wasn’t in the right place,
your hand needs to be here, this needs to be here. You’re walking, now start jogging
and lift your heels up. Now just start picking those knees up. I’m going to accelerate
and push off that ground in gear two. That’s when you start to run. Knee-punch. Knee-punch. Push, push. We’re going through
all the phases of acceleration and then working on our speed, and that’s the first time
I’m actually doing that. Now arms… No, no, no, no, you’re right, right? No, no, now what you did
is not what we’re here for. I need that stride to pick up,
pick up, pick up. Everything is very technique based,
very technical. So it’s been very eye-opening
in that essence. Don’t land so hard but jump hard. Go. Jump, land, absorb it.
Let’s go two more like that. Get aggressive. Harder. Try to break that machine
by pushing so hard. Physically I think they have the tools but mentally it’s just
going to be so draining and it’s going to be so tough on them because they are going
to have to catch up mentally with the speed of the NFL, know the thought processes
and the play books. Look at the throw deep down,
that was a back shoulder ball. And Boldin makes the catch
at the 40-yard line. Legendary NFL players
Pierre Garcon and Anquan Boldin are training in the gym
along with up-and-coming NFL prospect, Joey Bosa, who is preparing for the NFL draft. With an eye on the Europeans, Joey’s already noticed the hard work
Harry and Anthony are putting in. The hours they’re putting
in is pretty amazing. I’ve been playing football
since I was a little kid and they probably
grew up playing soccer. Win it. There you go. That’s good. Harry, I look over, he’s catching balls
almost every single time I look at him. We’re rubbing shoulders with guys who are projected like number one
draft picks and stuff like that. So I mean,
I’m looking forward to seeing how we progress from here and if we’re able to keep pace
with these guys, and like compete. All right, guys.
Come on. Let’s go again. Open, more, open, there you go. You gotta get to the count. There you go. You got to get on off that ball
like your whole life depends on it. People who are coming from over here
have to go in there almost with that same kind of mentality. Your whole life depends on how quick
you can get off that ball. I’m a great athlete. You know, I’m smart,
I’m intelligent, I’m hungry. I’m an NFL player and I belong
on this football field. There’s the 13. Ooh! There’s the 14! You guys are doing good. Does that make sense, though? I think it’s going to get harder. And fatigue’s gonna
kick in and everything, so it’s going to get harder. But I mean we’re here
to fight for ’em, so… [NEXTTIME ON NFL UNDISCOVERED]
The NFL success rate for not being broke and playing five to seven years
is less than 20 percent. Eighty percent of you,
they’re gonna fail you! Eighty percent! That’s a fact! We as coaches are constantly,
every freaking day, every freaking minute,
we are trying to replace you. [NFL UNDISCOVERED]
