LA Galaxy in mourning as ‘amazing player but even better person’ Clark dies at 35


FORMER MLS star Colin Clark has died aged 35 to leave US fans in mourning.  Tributes poured in for the popular ex-LA Galaxy, Colorado Rapids and Houston Dynamo midfielder  Clark, who leaves behind a son Tyce, also won a USA cap when he faced Haiti in the 2009 Concacaf Gold Cup  Former team-mate Chandler Hoffman posted an emotional message on Twitter after hearing the horrible news  It read: “I have been devastated since hearing the news that my former team-mate/roommate with LA Galaxy Colin Clark passed away  “We were in multiple fantasy football leagues together and no one got me into it like he did He was an amazing player/team-mate but an even better person.  “Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers especially his son Tyce Colin loved his son more than life itself.  “And it kills me knowing he will not see his son grow up Life is not fair and I cannot wrap my head around this tragedy.”  Galaxy tweeted: “The LA Galaxy mourn the loss of former player Colin Clark Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.”  While the Rapids added: “The Colorado Rapids organisation mourns the loss of former player and Colorado native Colin Clark  “We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Colin’s friends and family.”  And Dynamo posted: “Our entire club is saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Colin Clark  “He was a huge part of our club from 2010 to 2012, and an even better person off the pitch  “We’ll miss you, Colin. You’ll always be #ForeverOrange in our hearts & memories ”
