  1. Damn Ernie, I just got the chills and teared up at the end of this interview. You are a special Man Ernie Johnson.

  2. He is the absolute man. Not to mention, him, charles and kenny turned in an nba talk show into a late night comedy and ine of the best shows on tv. Lol too awesome.

  3. Good on EJ for managing that show with Sir Charles, who's popular cuz he's a clown, but his sports takes are so often uninformed and ill-advised. Colorful, but surprisingly lame for a guy who played the game. But in his mind, he's always right.

  4. EJ is probably one guy we can all agree should have been president over both candidates…
He's smart, sympathetic, compassionate, educated, honest and very eloquent and friendly. Think about how far away Trump is from each of those attributes ^^

  5. Not really a sports fan wasn't going to watch this one. I'm glad I did, the last two minutes were pretty powerful I think, what an amazing man. And wife it sounds like.

  6. All these kids in THIS country who are sick, homeless and starving, and your sick ass goes and adopts some kid from another country?? Leftist bullshit once again. You guys know that the democrats were the ones in favor of slavery, right? Still are if you look at obamas wellfare lines.

  7. A rare Christian who actually upholds the teachings of Christ. When the time comes, say hi to Fred Rogers in Heaven, Ernie.

  8. I love Ernie. In a age where Christians hypocritically have embraced the evil anti-Christ ways of Trumpism, Ernie demonstrates the way a true Christian mature man should be. Kind and decent.

  9. Listen to this man, kids. I sure am. "It's these unscripted moments that we don't run away from. We embrace them. And it makes our lives worthwhile."

  10. EJ is awesome. You should listen to his post-election speech after Trump won. Way better than Meryl Streep at the Golden Globes.

  11. Not advocating one thing or another, but being that Colbert and EJ are probably the two most beloved men of faith on television, I think it would've been interesting if they had talked more about their religion and how it's helped them out.

  12. Mr. Johnson Jr. is a Euro American man who transcends race cause he views everyone as an individual human being and treats everyone with respect, class, and dignity. like we all should. we should all try to follow his lead. greatness

  13. Much respect to Colbert in this interview, you can tell he doesn't know much about Ernie Johnson but he doesn't interfere and listens when Ej speaks

  14. Ernie is the man and a genuinely good person. Only pregame halftime and post game show I will ever watch is inside the nba. Long time fan of the show and everybody in that show is unique in their own way making the show that much better.

  15. ernie said zero about his battles with cancer, what a standup guy talking about the lives of others instead

  16. Ernie drinks 300 yr old wine smokes pure gold Cuban cigars and uses the word indubitably on a regular basis

  17. Well the inside the NBA is important but I'd like more time with the family. He sold the book. Just wish it wasn't cut off. Ill buy and read it.

  18. Ernie is a national fucking treasure. Also, everyone search "OG Ernie Johnson" on YouTube and enjoy 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  19. Ernie is my hero, what a class act. He even keeps his cool during inside the NBA while he's basically herding cats!

  20. I cherish the moments of american talkshow TV, when they just let a guy talk for a moment. When it's not undercut by applause of the audience, and they cann fully finnish a thought.

Often it's like "well I grew up in New York…" and half the room goes "woooouuuhh!" … like.. come on.

  21. EJ is very influential coz out of respect to Craig Sager, the Sager Strong Award is now an annual award during the NBA Awards, OR WHATEVER YOU CALL IT, because of EJ
