  1. Think about this, If a Chinese say: Oh, I am totally support 911 terrorist attacks. because America invading the Middle East. Laden was fighting for justice and freedom.

So what American will think? American will think the Chinese guy who sayed this was piece of shit. and this is what Chinese think about NBA.

If you guys see what real happen in Hong Kong, no one will think that is a right thing. Attack people with different opinions, throwing incendiary bomb, use roadblocks to blocking the road and attack government department and police station. they are no freedom and no justice, they are totally thugs, rogues and terrorists. if this happen in American what American police will do? think about it. Morey can say : fight for freedom. because he was not live in Hong Kong. and he haven't danger. but did he really care about Hong Kong people's life? If you guys really care about Hong Kong, you can find a lot video about how the hugs attacking people and police. just watching it first please. American media always reported with a twisted truth and comment by double standard. this in not right ok? this is not "freedom of speech", this is malicious deception and brainwashing.

I just hope Hong Kong restore peace not "fight for freedom". From the cold war to the present, how many people died because the "fight for freedom" ? and now what the people get? they just get poverty, hunger, wound and dead. they just became to refugee. We Chinese know that, because after "freedom" leave these ruins. is us try to help these people rebuild home.we know their hurts more than “freedom”

  2. China is forcing a bunch of bots to make false declarations of their love for China. How desperate is that? It’s like a cop at an interrogation table forcing a false confession. Or an abusive man forcing a woman to say she loves him. It only serves to more clearly show how pathetic you are. “Post online how China is great and America is bad or we kill your family”. That’s the greatness of China in action.

  3. The black brothers who have been enslaved and slaughtered for hundreds of years, support you against the white !we have the freedom to support, right?

  4. Hopefully, the Chinese wil find out that the USA wants regime change in China and replace it for a democratic Lybian inspired democracy.

  5. How many Americans actually know the detail for the Hong Kong unrest?
How many American actually cared about anything happening in Hong Kong?

  6. I told people we have freedom of speech but they come with consequences…are you willing to accept what comes after…you know in his heart he meant well because in every country there is bad maybe just more quite then others..yao been tired of doing this hes been hoping somebody becomes big like him and can replace him..i guess the time is now unless you cant leave voluntary either because you still don't have a replacement..

  7. Freedom of speech has its limitations ethically and culturally. That was
why Mr. Sterling of the prior Clippers owner violated its limitations
in US and was severely punished. When you run business across the globe,
don't you think about limitations in different culture as legitimate as
the way NBA banned Mr Sterling? Simple logic if you can think outside
of the US box. No need to get into complicated politics!

  8. As soon as you hear "China" and "freedom" you immediately hyped up. Before you jump the gun and act like saints, do yoy know it's all started off as a HK guy killed his pregnant girl friend in TW and freed due to the lack of extradition law? Hate the CCP or CN as you want but this time they didn't do any shit wrong in HK!

  9. https://youtu.be/sH4zn9aiRBg
See how the rioters attacked an offduty cop and later set him on fire in HK. And when the pro-gov folks spoke out, the rioters beat the shit out of them. So much for the peaceful demonstration and freedom fighting! You main stream medias never show the other side of the stories.

  10. Sure you do have your freedom of speech, but it may not be sensible to tweet on sensitive political issues as a general manager of a business organization. I always thought Moray was smart before this. You may have rocked as a human being by your tweet, but you sucked as a manager, and you have to live with the consequences. It's not just China. Tweet about Palestine and Israel, tweet about Pakistan and India … and see what happens.

  11. The world should boycott china not the other way. Choosing business that owned by filthy rich few instead of doing what is right.

  12. Rockets Owner: "That's brilliant Morey, you muppet! How am I gonna pay Westbrook now? I was counting on the Chinese revenues to pay for Westbrook so we can beat the Warriors."
    😂😜

  13. It is sad that the NBA (with all its historic activism) and not publicly support the Hong Kong protestors or the Muslims in Western China. We thought free trade would allow us to export our ideals of freedom to China, but the financial fallout from a Beijing backlash to anything they don't like allow the communist government to have their brand of censorship creep into the lives of private citizens.

On the surface, it looks like the NBA is issuing this apology to China and apparently turning their back on human rights because of money. However, there may be more to it. NBA exposure allows kids in China to follow their favorite players outside the game. Some of these players are active in speaking out against injustices, and that activism may inspire those Chinese kids to speak out against the injustices they see closer to home. If there is a whole sale ban on the NBA in China, those kids would be deprived of those role models.

It sucks that people like Morley, Parker, and Stone cannot address Chinese hot button topics directly, but they could inspire action on those issues indirectly by maintaining exposure in China. That would mean not publicly calling out the Chinese government in order to keep the indirect, subversive messages flowing in China long term and undermining the authoritarian control of the Communist party.

We also should remember that the NBA has quite a few players and office personnel in China at this moment. This is a nuclear power country with a history of known human rights abuses. It is not out of the realm of possibility that Beijing would incarcerate those US citizens (God forbid possible executions) if it stops public support for the HK protestors and undermining the party's authority.

What should the NBA do, knowing their people they have over there have their lives at stake if they show one hint of support for Morley's statement? What would you do in that spot? Sacrifice LeBron James for the principle of freedom?

Maybe the NBA and all Western nations should stop doing business with China and go back to is versus them, no way of battling copyright infringement. We tolerate each other's existence but do nothing to keep China engaged with the rest of us because we are unwilling to overlook their authoritarism.

  14. clearly there's a huge misunderstanding! nobody needs to bow for anything! supporting separation really touches the bottom line for China. and Chinese companies simply chose to pull the plug, it's a loss for both sides! this is what happens when u bring politics into sports, its sad!

  15. These people in China deserve to live under a Communist regime. Fuck em all!! They will never know what it is like to live the way we do and that's more than enough for me. We will always have the last laugh cuz it'll come to war before we ever honor our financial obligations to that shit hole of a country.

  16. Supporting 9/11 Jihad, Supporting Jihad hero bin Laden, Supporting California's independence, Supporting Alaska's independence. The shooters in the school shootings are great heroes.I support freedom of speech。。。👍👍👍

  17. Since when we care about democracy all over the world? Invading countries ain’t democracy. Why don’t they speak about the palestinas getting murdered? Double standards 😆

  18. NBA players got fined by Silver when complaining about the referee. But he is OK with a GM provoking Chinese people by talking about domestic affairs of their own country. Freedom of speech ladies and gentlemen

  19. You guys have no idea, freedom and democracy is definitely right, but HongKong protestors are just using and abducting "freedom and democracy" for doing bad things

  20. It is a matter of how to understand the protest in HK. People from mainland China regard it as a protest for independence, which is certainly not acceptable on their national interest. While the media in US describe it as a pursuit for freedom.
From the prespective of US, that tweet is totally innocuous. But from the view of China, It is just like you talk to your neighbor: "I think that you and your wife should get a divorce.” Is that freedom of speech?

  21. United States can't accept the fact that a new superpower is rising – CHINA. China can retaliate US mainland (melting the whole country into ashes) if US wants a nuclear war. Big mouth can't win a war only real military strength. US can only fight war with small nations. US has no guts to fight China mano-a-mano. Only cowards use their big mouth.

  22. You don't support "freedom Fighters" from extreme terrorism organizations on 911. And you don't support "freedom fighters" from HK riots on Chinese national day.

  23. Insensitive, mindless and offensive comments coming from the GM of a respected NBA team. Proof that many in the US have no understanding of the Chinese people. These comments are as hurtful to Chinese as making racial remarks, which obviously many don't understand.

  24. Remember Sun Tze's Art of War, never gives your enemy any clue on actions that you will take. Just execute it if the time is ripe. Justice will prevail with pro-democracy Hong Kong people crying for help, because no foreign nations can interfere by then.

  25. You can take your business to Africa and fuckin' twitter that you support white supremacy ? USE YOUR FUCKIN' COMMON SENSE. Can you go do business in Israel and twitter you are big fan of Nazi ? NO, USE YOUR FUCKIN' COMMON SENSE , not freedom of speech you airhead

  26. I don't see what the fuss is about. It's not as if Morey mentioned Mao's Great Famine, or the Great Leap Forward, or the Great Cultural Revolution, or the Uighurs, or Formosa, or Tibet or Tiananmen Square, or the One Child Policy, or the air quality in Beijing, or tainted baby formula, or the amount of plastic that Chinese rivers dump into the ocean, or their support of North Korea, or their theft of intellectual property or currency manipulation. All things considered, Morey's tweet was pretty tame.

  27. NBA stands for Not a Black American. Does anyone think Charles Barkley would ever kowtow to a foreign government. I don't think so. That's part of what makes him a great American he takes no shit from anyone.

  28. They are not pro democracy, they are brainwashed, the media will never tell you the original document of the bill that those violent protesters were against. They see “ protesting” and “China”, immediately concluded China is destroying HK’s democracy, without ever given any thought nor research on the subject, this is dangerous, the similar way media is affecting our election here in the states.

  29. f… off China, f.. off Turkish… Palestina is more complicated, freedom for Tibet – but still more complicated, F.. OFF money, F.. OFF FED

  30. Is it ok to tweet a sexist tweet? No, Is it ok to tweet a racist tweet? No Is it ok to tweet messages supporting ISIS No, but it's ok to tweet a message supporting HK Rioters beating people up who have different opinions to them, throwing petrol bombs, attacking the Police, and destroying their own city, causing distruption to everyone trying to go work/school. Think about that!

  31. Love how these scummy overpaid athlete prostitutes are readily making anti-American tweets, but apologize and bow down to communist dictators because of money

  32. CHINA" telling the NBA and the USA…. shut up and dribble" ok 🤔
What did the USA and NBA have to say…ahhh duhhhh 🤔🤔 🤔we love china.yup..🤔 they got deep pockets"? Profit over Humanity"
This is a Fire Storm on the Way!!

  33. This is what Daryl Morey meant to the Chinese people in the mainland and Hong Kong when he said "Fight for Freedom. Stand with Hong Kong." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFwGqF3QlVc&feature=youtu.be

  34. Would the NBA apologize to Hitler Or Stalin? WTF is wrong with American Corporations who continue to play nice with evil, corrupt entity's just for financial gains?
    BOYCOTT THE NBA,
BOYCOTT THE EVIL REGIME OF CHINA

  35. The F out of here China. Y’all always getting butt hurt over everything.

Human rights, fair pay, Winnie the Pooh, just to name a few

  36. https://youtu.be/h_pIvvIs4QE for those who want to understand why Hong Kong has turned violent in these past months, I suggest you watch this video. Simon Lau is a renowned political commentator who previously advised both pro-democracy party and the government.

  37. KEEP THE NAMES OF ALL PEOPLE, THAT SUPORT THE MASS SLAUGHTER SYSTHEMS OF HUMANITY ! AND CALL OF THEM OUT TODAY, DONT BE STUPID IDIOTS IN TIMES OF TRUMPISM !

  38. lmao, he talking about LOVE, the only type of love he got needs the mayo to be wiped from the side of his mouth! he groveling like a little beach! DISGUSTING!

  39. China is exercising their free speech, no NBA in China, Chinese keep their money, you keep your basketball. NBA now is freaking out. Money talks, bull shit walks. Morley and Silver walk.

  40. Let’s be fair! You don’t talk shit in public to someone who spoon-feed You billion of dollars every year. What these fashion companies and Morey did is absolutely disgusting. If you don’t like China, simply withdraw your business from China. Speaking of freedom of speech, a WoW got arrested for threatening to kill school kids in game. This is hypocrisy to its finest.

  41. Crap News Network indeed. Be more biased please. A basketball issue with China and you have 3 white guy pretending to discuss the matter. Real nice, bravo!

  42. The NBA and NFL can slam America all they want and get away with it? But slam China and they bow down to the communist who are responsible for slaughter 100 million people!? I thought these NBA and NFL clowns were social justice warriors?? They don't give a crap about nothing other than our money. I will never support any of these fools again. True Americans need to boycott all these communist puppets

  43. Peoples supporting violence needs to be investigated, doesn’t matters right or wrong, once you support suffering to other countries that’s wrong and unkind, let other countries have their own ideology respected,we surely don’t like others to interferes in our own affairs,a judge never simply past judgement based on only one sided presentation, there’s things that we don’t knows nor understand.

  44. That dumbass tweeter should be fired according to the NBA employee policy. The NBA shouldn’t apologize to China, human life is more important than money. NBA players should sue the dumbass tweeter for loss of income. STFUDM!

  45. There is no difference between liberals and China. You get silenced for a tweet there, you get mobbed for wearing a MAGA hat in the US. The liberal NBA is talking about freedom of speech? THATS RICH.

  46. I feel funny on American media, CNN, or CNBC… NBA is banned just simply because of Chinese government, just because of its authoritarian government. There is huge anger among the Chinese people in the public, these Media is trying desperately to cut the piece they want and ignore the Chinese public responses. NBA got boycott began on internet, started from Chinese citizens, not its government. Because China painful history , when come to national sovereignty and territorial integrity, there is not room for bargaining from anyone or any country. These are consensus among all Chinese nationals, don’t even doubt

  47. Morey should criticize his own president and country before he talks about China. We don’t have human rights here! The rich and powerful controls everything. There’s no freedom here.. msm controls the narrative and we’re told what to listen to. Stupid Hong Kong kids who don’t understand crap and brainwashed by western culture and fallacies are committing crimes and need to be arrested. Morey has zero idea what’s going on in China. Idiot.

  48. the NBA is like flag football, no one gives a shit. they're all softies now. and if people don't spend money on the NBA, they'll spend it on something else. people love to spend money, and they will. we apologize and we love china and we love everything they're about – WTF???

  49. Rumor has it that the communist party did NOT lube up before they ran a train on James Hardin's a$$! I didn't realize he was that much of a bitch.

  50. The NBA didn't side with Beijing!!!! They didn't punish More in any way shape or form!!!! This report is just non-sense on so many levels.
