>>>THREE BEGGARS HAVE SERIOUS INJURIES AFTER BEING HIT BY A SPEEDING CAR. WHERE THERE LIVE. >>BACKLASH HAPPENED AT THIS INTERSECTION. THREE MOTORCYCLE RIDERS WERE SENT TO THE HOSPITAL WITH SERIOUS INJURIES. AT 11:45 LAST NIGHT FIVE MOTORCYCLE RIDERS WERE HEADED DOWN THE ROAD. THEY WERE TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. A BLACK FORD MUSTANG WAS FOLLOWING THE RIDERS AND ALSO GOING PRETTY FAST. THE DRIVER OF THE MUSTANG PLOWED INTO THE BACK OF THREE OF THE MOTORCYCLE RIDERS AS THEY SLOW DOWN FOR A RED LIGHT. THEY WORK ALL LOADED INTO AMBULANCES AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. THE MUSTANG CRASHED OUT BUT THE DRIVER RAN AWAY FROM THE CAR AND HAS NOT BEEN FOUND. THE RIDERS WHO WERE HIT WILL BE OKAY. THE MUSTANG HAD PAPER PLATES IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO FIND THE DRIVER. BACK TO YOU. >>>LIKE MANY, BUSINESS OWNERS ARE CLEANING UP AFTER YESTERDAY’S STORM. THAT AWNING DROP-DOWN ON SOME VEHICLES. A WOMAN WAS STUCK INSIDE THIS TRUCK AND ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL. SHE SAID SHE IS RECOVERING. THE AWNING HAS BEEN REMOVED THIS MORNING. SOME OF THE DAMAGE TO VEHICLES REMAIN THERE. NO ONE ELSE WAS INJURED. POLICE SAY THEY DON’T KNOW HOW MAN DIED OR HOW LONG HIS BODY WAS IN THE BAYOU. PEOPLE AT MASON PARK IN SPITE OF THE MAN’S BODY AT 730 LAST NIGHT. OFFICERS COULD NOT GET TO IT BECAUSE OF THE CARD. THE BODY FLOATED ALL THE WAY TO THE BAYOU. THEY WERE ABLE TO RECOVER THE BATTERY. THEY’RE WORKING TO IDENTIFY THE MAN AND FIGURE OUT HOW HE DIED.THE CONSTABLE, MARK HARMON WILL BE TALKING ABOUT A SCAM USING HIM. SOMEONE HAS BEEN CALLING PEOPLE PRETENDING TO BE HIM. THEY DEMAND MONEY AND IN ONE CASE A SENIOR CITIZEN TRIED TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF THE BANK ACCOUNT BUT THE TELLER GOT SUSPICIOUS AND STOPPED THE SCAM. THERE WILL BE AT 1030 NEWS CONFERENCE THIS MORNING. IT WILL MAKE LANDFALL SOMEWHERE ON THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA AS WE GET INTO LATE SUNDAY AND MONDAY MORNING. CURRENTLY 85 MPH SUSTAINED WINDS. THAT WILL INTENSIFY OVER THE WEEKEND. A MAJOR HURRICANE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 120 TO 125 MPH WINDS. WE WON’T SEE ANY DIRECT IMPACT AS A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP THE SYSTEM OFF TOWARD THE EAST.
